Inspiring creativity and connecting creative minds
Guy Holness is an aspiring social entrepreneur, a curator and creative. A co-founder of The Inspirational Network, his life mission is to use art as a tool to inspire creativity. Guy has over 10 years experience in local and international youth projects and draws on this to connect and engage people of all ages in positive change.
Guy is curating a Creative Connect Exhibition during Do Fest, on Monday 13 March from 6pm. Paintings, photography, poetry, graffiti, illustrations, performance, sculpture and video all accepted and expected. Submit work in advance, be a rebel and just show up with your creativity, or simply come along to be wowed by the abundance of talent and creativity in Dudley and our wider networks.
Guy is also running a Trade School Dudley class during Do Fest on Tuesday 14 March, 5pm-6pm in which you can learn to make a street art paste up poster. He will be giving a Lightning Talk on Wednesday 15 March and you’ll find him around throughout Do Fest, as he is a member of the CoLab Dudley team who are collaborating to create a platform for doing in Dudley.
Alongside his creative mission, Guy runs The UP-Cycle Shop, a store that uses recycled materials to create positive products. he created the store to generate funds for The Inspirational Network projects and to take steps towards self sustainability. Pop into The Workshop at gather during Do Fest and see the space Guy is creating which is open to all and can be home to all sorts of projects.
