Trade School Dudley class teachers
We haven’t found anything yet that Karl can’t do! Last summer he taught a Trade School Dudley class on keeping urban chickens, at Do Fest he is offering a class on Breadmaking for Beginners on Monday 13 March from 5pm. Karl’s family have been baking bread for over 120 years, his great-grandfather was a master baker. Karl is also a knowledgeable grower, and was key to the vegetable garden at DY1 on Stafford Street being established. He lives in Dudley with his family and various animals!
Jane has a lifelong love of all things handmade which she is now indulging in retirement. Jane lives in Halesowen, where she upcycles, crochets, creates art and more. She instigated the creation of a wonderful upcycled denim rag rug for the Inspiration Lab, showing lots of people how to rag rug and explaining that in the Black Country this was known as ‘podging’. Jane has taught two Trade School Dudley classes on crocheting, and is running a class on Textile Art during Do Fest, on Monday 13 March from 3.30 to 5.00pm.
