Victoria and Beverley

Do Fest Create makers

Victoria lives in Dudley with her husband and two cats. She is a talented in a range of crafts. Having started making Christmas tree decorations, she now works with fabrics to make bracelets, quilts, hearts, dolls and more. Victoria is one of the Inspiration Lab co-creators. When she first saw what was being created she offered to make cushion covers. She quickly became a regular presence, adding her creativity in the making of all sorts of things and growing herbs from seed for the garden.

Victoria threw herself into the two Do Fest Create days in February, bringing her sewing machine and contributing to the making of bunting which will be hung in DY1 for the Do Fest Summit on Wednesday 15 March.

Beverley lives in Wordsley with her family, including a West Highland white terrier. She got into crafts through card making and has taught herself all sorts of paper crafts, from origami box making, to scrap booking and her current favourite – paper flower bouquets.

Beverley bought her 3 children along to Do Fest Create in half term and showed lots of people how to make beautiful boxes, flowers and more. She thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to get involved in more crafting with people during and following Do Fest.
